A fifteen-day honeymoon to two islands that hardly anyone visits. First São Tomé, with its cocoa plantations, coffee and the equator, then nine nights on Príncipe, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, in a plantation house and a villa on a secluded beach.

Optional: beach extension in Mauritius
Fancy another week on a different beach? A 7-night extension in Mauritius can be booked separately: a beach resort with breakfast and dinner, transfers, a day with a driver to Chamarel and Black River Gorges, a sunset catamaran and a couples’ massage. It is not a direct combination: there is no direct flight, the journey takes some 17 to 24 hours with two stops (via Luanda and Johannesburg, or via Lisbon and Dubai) and needs a separate flight. Mauritius also works as a separate trip, at another time.

What is not included, and do we need a visa?
The international flight (usually via Lisbon), a visa if your nationality needs one, tips, your own travel insurance, drinks not included in the stay and the beach extension in Mauritius. Many nationalities can stay a short time without a visa; others apply for an e-visa in advance. Ask a travel clinic in good time about vaccinations (yellow fever among them) and malaria. Check the travel advice of your own country.
